Day 1, Sun. BOARD YOUR OVERNIGHT TRANSATLANTIC FLIGHT

Day 2, Mon. ARRIVE IN LONDON, ENGLAND. at London. The day is at leisure to begin exploring Britain's capital on your own.

Day 3, Tue. LONDON / RUNNY­MEADE / STONEHENGE / BIDEFORD. at London
This morning drive through Windsor Great Park en route to Runnymede, where the Magna Carta was sealed. Continue to Salisbury to view its magnificent cathedral, boasting the tallest church spire in Britain. Next, stop at Salisbury Plain to visit the ancient and mysterious monoliths of Stonehenge. On past Lorna Doone's famous Exmoor, and head to the ancient seaport of Bideford, built on two hills above the River Torridge. Tonight, enjoy a Welcome Drink and dinner with your Tour Director and fellow traveling companions. (CB,D)

Day 4, Wed. BIDEFORD / CLOVELLY / TINTAGEL / PLYMOUTH. at Plymouth
Your first stop this morning is the steeply cobbled village of Clovelly with its loveable donkeys and Dartmoor heather. Then on via the pretty seaside resort of Boscastle and back into Devon. Enjoy a wonderful Devonshire Cream tea this afternoon. Finally stop in Tintagel, for views of the ruined castle overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, before heading to the historic naval port of Plymouth. See the Mayflower Steps, from which the Pilgrims set sail, and the Citadel overlooking Plymouth Sound. (B,D)

Day 5, Thu. CORNISH EXCURSION. at Plymouth
Drive along the rugged Cornish coastline past smugglers' coves and quaint fishing villages to Land's End, the most westerly point of the British mainland. Then on to the famous artists' colony of St. Ives, filled with galleries and charming houses. There is a chance to photograph St. Michael's Mount near Penzance before a drive across Bodmin Moor, made famous by Daphne du Maurier's Jamaica Inn. (B)

Day 6, Fri. PLYMOUTH / BATH / BRISTOL. at Bristol
Journey north via wild Dartmoor National Park en route to Glastonbury. Here, visit the Abbey ruins and see the legendary tomb of King Arthur. Then see beautiful Cheddar Gorge before arriving in Bath. Visit the amazing Roman Baths and admire the magnificent Georgian architecture of the city. On to maritime Bristol, the city of Isambard Kingdom Brunel, a great 19th-century engineer. Tonight, savor a Farewell Dinner with newfound friends. (B,D)

Day 7, Sat. BRISTOL / BATH / HAMPTON COURT / LONDON. at London
Drive through the countryside to Avebury to visit Britain's largest and most ancient Stone Circle and a World Heritage site. On the way back into London, stop to see the gardens of Hampton Court Palace. (B)
